Hello everyone,

[The insane server lag] should now be resolved, we are still monitoring all the servers closely to make sure it stays this way. Once again we are very sorry for any inconvenience it might have caused you.

Post was made at 10:30 last night, while we were, y'know, lagging on Festergut.  Hopefully they were just posting early and there was some form of restart over-night that has magically fixed it all.

Update (10/02): This issue has reappeared post-maintenance, and we are continuing our efforts to resolve it as quickly as possible. Again, we'd like to offer our sincere apologies to anyone affected.

Over the last week we've seen an increase in the number of players experiencing 'lag' when attempting to cast spells, pick up loot, or perform numerous other actions. Obviously this is preventing many players from being able to properly interact with the world, and we are currently looking into it with due haste. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this causes you or your friends.

While we work towards a solution, we kindly ask that players do not log onto other realms with intent to spam or disrupt the enjoyment of others. Doing so has absolutely no beneficial effect and will not allow us to solve the problem sooner; rather, it means that time is lost on moderation. Any harassment or disruptive behaviour of this nature will be actioned accordingly.

I know I'm shocked that they fixed it for the days when raiding was light, and it magically reappeared on Wednesday.  /facepalm

Hopefully a real fix will come soon.
*prays super-duper hard for a playable raid tonight*

last night wasn't that horrible, but we did have lag, yes. surprisingly saurfang was almost lag-free

i think we should be fine today
